Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Shield Of Ice

When youth was dawn, heart set alight,
Passions flared, love's hazy height.
His soul flowed forth, a boundless tide,
Each hope, each dream, his heart's sole guide.

He built his world on tender care,
A fortress strong, beyond compare.
He gave his all, with open hand,
Believed in love, across the land.

But cruel winds blew, and storms did rise,
Betrayal's sting, in tear-filled eyes.
The trust he placed, a fragile thing,
Shattered now, on broken wing.

The weight of pain, a heavy toll,
It crushed his spirit, claimed his soul.
The fire dimmed, the warmth grew cold,
A story often left untold.

For now he stands, a man subdued,
The caring heart, misunderstood.
A shield of ice, where warmth once shone,
A lesson learned, though dearly won.

The echo fades, of love's sweet call,
He guards his heart, lest it should fall.
A distant gaze, where dreams once flew,
A man who cared, but cares no more, it's true.
