Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Courage

Each step forward rewrites the tale,
A whisper of courage where doubt might prevail.
Though stumbles have marked the chapters gone by,
The story ascends, reaching toward the sky.

A misstep may sting, a fall may bruise,
But every rise grants a path to choose.
Through broken lines and jagged prose,
A new beginning eternally grows.

The road behind may bear its weight,
Of trials endured, of twists in fate.
Yet forward lies a page unturned,
A space where dreams are slowly earned.

Each falter is ink, each climb a pen,
Crafting a narrative again and again.
For the story of strength is never done,
It’s written with each step toward the sun.

So let the stumbles shape, not define,
The arc of your journey, the climb of your spine.
For the script is yours, the pen in hand—
Each step forward, a story grand.
