Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

I Am The Seeker

Through quiet shadows of my soul,
I carry mistakes, a heavy toll.
Each step I take, a whisper of blame,
A journey of guilt, a dance with shame.

I sought the world, a hand to hold,
But trust was shattered, hearts turned cold.
Words meant to heal, cut instead,
Leaving scars where hope once tread.

Now solitude calls, a somber friend,
A place where broken paths may bend.
Pain is a mirror, reflecting my past,
A teacher whose lessons forever last.

But in this ache, a flicker remains,
A stubborn light that defies the chains.
For I am not my mistakes, not my scars,
I am the seeker who reaches the stars.

Let silence heal where words have failed,
Let time rebuild where trust derailed.
In solitude’s embrace, I’ll redefine,
The person I am, this life that is mine.
