Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Acts of God

If Christ was small enough to figure out with our brain, He wouldn't be big enough to worship.

Christ is 100% God (John 20:28; John 1:1; Phil 2:5-8) and 100% man (John 1:14-15).

God's default mode is to love (1 John 4:16). But many people haven't been inundated with the true nature of God, which is to love.

All they know is a God that gives cancer. That's what was programmed into their subconscious mind by an individual that misrepresented the nature of God to them.

Misrepresentation of God's nature is all around us. They boldly call earthquakes 'acts of God.'

Listen, pal. God doesn't want me to defend Him. He has angels who can do a much better job at defending Him.

The truth is, I can't change your programming. All I can do is point you to the true nature of God.

And if Christ didn't love you, He wouldn't have taken your place propitiatingly (1 John 4:10; John 3-16-17) and died as you at the cross (Romans 6:23; 1 Peter 2:24; John 5:24).

In case you don't know:

👉 There's cancer because creation has fallen.

👉 There's death because creation has fallen.

👉 There are earthquakes because creation has fallen.

👉 Creation has fallen due to Adam's sin.

Your life is tied to Adam. Just like your life is tied to your grandfather.

If your grandfather died when he was 6 years young, you wouldn't be here reading this.

Now, the solution to a 'fallen creation' is Christ-Crucified. For God to create, He only had to speak (John 1:1-2; Hebrews 1:1-4).

But for God to redeem, He had to bleed (Hebrews 10:10; Isaiah 43:25; Hebrews 9:12).

Just know that the cross changed everything.

💡 Before the cross:
Forgive in order to be forgiven.

💡 After the cross:
Forgive because you have been forgiven.

---

The key is to understand which dispensation you are in, pal.
