Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

A Whispered Fear

A shroud of doubt, a whispered fear,
Negative thoughts, my constant cheer.
A mountain built of might-have-beens,
Casting shadows, dimming dreams.

The weight of failures, past and near,
Blurs the sunshine, whispers drear.
Each stumble stumbles hope anew,
A constant battle, lost from view.

But wait, a whisper in the storm,
A tiny voice, a heart half-warm.
"Is this the truth, this endless night?
Or can you find a flicker of light?"

Perhaps a shift, a gentler view,
To see the green, the morning dew.
A small success, a victory won,
A single step, the race begun.

For even mountains, vast and grand,
Were once just pebbles, in the sand.
So let us gather what remains,
And build anew, through sun and rains.

This fight is yours, and yours alone,
But know you're not here all alone.
With gentle hands, and steady pace,
You'll find your strength, and win this race.
