Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Strength in Vulnerability

In a village quaint, where whispers dance,
Lived Munyaka, with a soul's advance.
Her words, a river, gentle and wise,
Spoke truths that lit up even darkest skies.

With eyes like pools, reflecting stars,
She gazed upon her husband, Gwaro, afar.
"Dear Gwaro," she said, with love's soft tone,
"Strength lies not in standing alone.

To move ahead, one must embrace,
The vulnerability that holds no trace
Of shame or fear, but rather a key,
To unlock the door to destiny.

For in our weakness, we find our might,
And in seeking help, we walk in light.
No man is an island, nor should he be,
For we're bound by threads of humanity.

So let your walls crumble, let your heart unfurl,
For in vulnerability, lies the pearl
Of growth and courage, to face the day,
Together, hand in hand, come what may."

Gwaro, moved by her words so true,
Saw in her wisdom, a path anew.
With Munyaka's guidance, he learned to see,
The strength in vulnerability.

Hand in hand, they faced the tide,
With hearts open wide, side by side.
For Munyaka knew, and Gwaro now understood,
That to move forward, they must be vulnerable for good.
