Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Kanini

In a bustling town, there lived Kanini fair,
With grace in her step and silver in her hair.
She preached a truth that many did ignore,
About respect for wealth, a lesson to explore.

"People who squander, who treat money with disdain,
Often find themselves in hardship's chain.
For money, my dear, is not just a game,
It's earned with sweat, and carries a name."

She spoke of dignity, of honor, and of pride,
In earning a living, with no shortcuts to hide.
For those who abuse, who let money slip away,
May find themselves with debts they cannot pay.

Kanini knew the value of every coin and note,
And through her wisdom, she gently wrote,
That respect for money is respect for oneself,
To safeguard wealth, like books on a shelf.

So heed her words, oh passerby,
And let them echo 'neath the sky,
For those who cherish what they earn,
Will find respect and fortune in turn.
