Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Muraya

In the quiet of the morning's hush,
Underneath the sky's eternal blush,
There walks a lady named Muraya, bold,
Seeking truths her heart longs to hold.

Through fields of doubt, she ventures on,
With faith as her compass, never gone,
Yet as she treads the paths unknown,
She finds herself not truly alone.

For in the whisper of the wind's caress,
In the shimmer of the sun's softness,
She feels a presence, steady and true,
Guiding her steps, helping her through.

No family near, no friend to confide,
No partner's hand to hold by her side,
But Muraya knows in her soul's deep core,
That some roads are meant to be explored.

Alone with God, she learns to embrace,
The solitude, the boundless grace,
For in the silence, she finds her voice,
In the solitude, she makes her choice.

To trust in Him, through every bend,
Knowing He's with her until the end,
And though the journey may seem long,
She finds in Him her strength, her song.

So Muraya walks, with faith her guide,
In God's embrace, she'll surely abide,
For she's learned the truth along the way,
Some roads you walk alone, come what may.
