Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Kehee

In the realm of love, Kehee set his sail,
A melody of affection, a heartfelt tale.
Living within a song, his heart aglow,
He was the lyrics, love's ebb and flow.

Yet, tunes have limits, moments constrained,
Three minutes of bliss, then reality regained.
Forgotten, he had, the fleeting song's decree,
As chords unraveled, unraveling the glee.

A symphony of love, a transient art,
He yearned for her, his beating heart.
Ten minutes apart, an eternity's toll,
Yet she lingered distant, a narrative untold.

Days slipped away, a silent divide,
He craved her presence, by his side.
Desperation echoed when she was not near,
A chorus of longing, a love sincere.

She, untouched by the urgency he felt,
Days without him, her heart wouldn't melt.
A paradox unfolded, love's uneven rhyme,
He needed her always, an endless chime.

As moments unfurled, their love entwined,
Yet, time revealed a dissonance defined.
The song played on, but its melody waned,
Kehee discovered love, both joy and pain.
