Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Omwanda

In Kisumu Ndogo, where shadows dance,
Omwanda resides, in life's sweet trance.
Two wives by his side, a family complete,
In the rhythm of Kisumu, a tale replete.

Through fields of green, where patience grows,
Omwanda's heart, the wisdom it knows.
A man of virtue, in the village embraced,
With dreams that ripen, not a moment to waste.

The sun paints the sky in hues so divine,
As Omwanda labors, his hands intertwine.
Seeds of hope in the earth, he gently sows,
A harvest of joy, as patience steadily grows.

Two wives, like blossoms in his life's sweet rhyme,
In the dance of love, transcending time.
Harmony woven through life's tapestry,
In Kisumu Ndogo, a familial symphony.

Through seasons of waiting, Omwanda stands,
A patient soul in these quiet lands.
For in the stillness, wisdom takes its prime,
And all that's sought, arrives in its own time.
