Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Njambi

In the heart of dawn, Njambi found her way,
A seeker of solace in the light's gentle sway.
Through life's tangled woods, she wandered lost,
Seeking love's compass, paying the cost.

In shadows of doubt, where silence grew,
Njambi heard whispers, a divine cue.
Through trials and tears, a journey unfolds,
A revelation profound, a story untold.

In the quiet moments, she met a friend,
A presence unspoken, on whom to depend.
Christ Jesus, the anchor in life's stormy sea,
Guiding Njambi to a love that's free.

No earthly allure could match this grace,
In the warmth of faith, she found her place.
Through valleys of doubt, to mountain's peak,
Njambi found the solace she sought to seek.

In the embrace of Christ, her heart found rest,
A love unending, enduring the test.
No riches, no fame could ever compare,
To the joy of knowing Christ is always there.

So, Njambi danced with joy untold,
In the embrace of a love pure and bold.
Through the tapestry of life, woven with care,
She discovered the most important presence to share.
