Heart of Stone

He built his dreams with fire and steel,   Through sweat and pain, through grit and will.   His path was carved with silent nights,   A war he waged beyond the sights.   But love, so sweet, so soft, so near,   Whispered dreams into his ear.   A choice was placed upon his chest—   His passion’s flame, or love’s request.   He turned away from burning light,   Held her close, embraced the night.   Yet soon he found, to his dismay,   Both love and purpose slipped away.   For goals demand a heart of stone,   And love still longs to call its own.   To chase one means to lose the fight,   To hold both tight is rarest might.   So walk the road with eyes aware,   Choose with wisdom, choose with care.   For once you drop what makes you whole,   You lose the fire—and lose your soul.

Mutheu Doesn't Care!

In the depths of dusk's remorseful hue,
Mutheu's heart quivers, heavy and askew.
Her gaze, burdened by shadows of deceit,
Reveals the wound of trust's swift defeat.

Once her heart danced in the halls of love's embrace,
But now it stumbles, caught in shame's fierce chase.
For in the veiled secrets of dalliance's embrace,
Her folly's dagger left their bond a woeful trace.

Ndolo, once the beacon of her cherished dreams,
Now stands wounded, betrayed by love's wayward streams.
For trust, once gifted with unguarded grace,
Now echoes with the ache of its shattered embrace.

Mutheu's tears, now rivers of repentant sorrow,
Yearn to turn back time, to heal each painful morrow.
Yet the truth remains, stark and unforgivingly clear,
That love's frailty wounded what was once held dear.
